Yes, while one way trips are not typically encouraged, we are happy to accommodate when requested. In these cases, the mileage and time are doubled as if it were a round trip. This structure accounts for the Nabor’s return travel to the start point to ensure fair compensation for their time and expenses.
The wonderful group of people who help out our clients are our "Nabors." They are the foundation of Naborforce! Nabors are typically empty nesters, retirees and other folks who love seniors and want to give back to the community while earning a little flexible income. They include men and women of all ages! We look for people who have a true passion for supporting the older adults in our communities. All Nabors go through a rigorous application process before they’re invited to join Naborforce. This includes a 1:1 interview, a suitability assessment, a comprehensive 50-state background check, a driving record audit, and an onboarding exam.
Visits are priced by the hour with a one-hour minimum. After the first hour, we bill in 5 minute increments. You only pay for what you need. Hourly rates differ based on location. Check out our locations and pricing page for more detailed information.
We help older adults age joyfully and on their own terms. We provide light support around the house – like preparing a meal or helping with laundry. We also help with errands – like trips to a doctor's appointment or the grocery store. And many people just use us for companionship and peace of mind. Read about our full list of services here.
Signing up for Naborforce is free. When you book your first visit, your membership will be activated. The monthly membership fee is $35 and is credited toward your first visit of the month. Unused monthly membership credits expire each month. You can cancel at anytime.
Your risk free membership can be cancelled any time. You can cancel on the client profile page of your online account, or by emailing [email protected].
Signing up is easy! You can sign up on the website, our app, or by calling us at 844-MyNabor. Either way, it only takes a few short minutes. On your profile, you can set preferences and also provide notes for Nabors who visit you or your loved one.
Of course. When you begin the signup process simply indicate that you are signing up for a loved one. You will be able to manage the account for them and can add other family members too.
Absolutely, just add them to your profile. You can specify whether they are an emergency contact or if you would like for them to receive communications regarding your visits.
You can book a visit with Naborforce online, on the app, or by calling 844-MY-NABOR. When you book a visit, there is a spot for notes about the visit in case there are any special things we should know. You can update those notes at any time, so if something changes or comes to mind, simply edit the notes!

We do not have contracts or hourly minimums. Visits have a one-hour minimum charge. After that, billing is prorated every 5 minutes, so you really only pay for what you need!
Absolutely, we are fully bonded and insured with industry-leading liability insurance.
Part of the benefit of the on-demand nature of Naborforce is that you are not burdened with having to interview, negotiate terms with or screen your Nabor. You can simply book a visit and feel confident that a trustworthy community member will show up to help you or your loved one in a respectful and joyful manner.
Often, but not always. Part of the beauty of Naborforce is that Nabors are empowered to set their own schedule and change it as often as they like. It is one of the reasons we are able to attract such awesome people. If you know that you would like to have a set schedule of visits, we will match you with a Nabor that generally has that availability. Our system is set up so that you can “favorite” Nabors, and if they are available, they will get matched for that visit.
We do not require a consultation to get started. If you need assistance quickly, a Nabor can be there as soon as the same day!
Of course! You can cancel a visit through your online account, the app, or by calling us. We ask that you provide 24 hours notice - otherwise there is a cancellation fee equal to one visit hour.
Yes! While we cannot guarantee that same day visit requests can be filled, we are almost always able to find a Nabor for them!
A few days before your visit, you will be notified which Nabor is assigned via email and text message. You can always view upcoming visits and assigned Nabors on your online account.
While we are not set up to “request” a certain Nabor, our system does allow you to “favorite” a Nabor. If a favorite Nabor is available, they will be matched to your visit request.
Yes - you can specify whether you have a preference for male or female Nabors, or that you are comfortable with either. The majority of our Nabors are women, but our male Nabors are great as well. It is entirely up to you!
Pets are no problem at all, just let us know! Our Nabors love your furry friends, and often help with walking, feeding or even getting them to the vet. In the case we have a Nabor with allergies, we will make sure not to match them with you.
Charges for services are securely charged to your credit card on file. Anytime your card is charged, you will receive a detailed billing statement via email. All billing activity is viewable on your online account.

Naborforce does not perform any personal care, including bathing, feeding, dressing and toileting.
Our Nabors are here to help keep you living independently and safely in your home. We help with lots of small things around the house – things like cleaning up the kitchen after preparing a meal, laundry, organizing closets, sweeping the stoop, etc. We are not “housekeepers” in the sense that we are not hired purely to come and clean.
Our Nabors are happy to provide light, non-skilled help around your home for tasks that may be difficult or unsafe for you to do – things such as changing overhead lightbulbs, carrying items down from the attic, hauling the garbage receptacle to the curb, etc. While some of our Nabors may be quite handy, we do not provide any plumbing, carpentry or electrical services. And while we are happy to work alongside you in the garden and help with a few things outside, we do not provide landscaping or yard maintenance services.
Naborforce is happy to provide airport drop offs. However, keep in mind that if there is a significant delay, the Nabor may no longer be available. Naborforce does not provide airport pick ups due to the uncertainty of flight arrival times.
Unfortunately, our Nabors do not have wheelchair accessible vans. For clients who may have a walker or folding transport wheelchair and can enter and exit the car with minimal assistance, we are happy to help.
Naborforce does not provide overnight visits. Should you need that level of support, we will be happy to refer you to an agency that might be able to help.
Naborforce does not provide any medical services and does not accept medical insurance.
Yes, we are open every day. It may be a little bit tougher to find an available Nabor on certain holidays – in that case, we will do our best!
